Rescheduling, cancellations, refunds
Plans change, and you're welcome to reschedule or cancel yourself through the online booking system 24 hours before the appointment time.
One thing worth naming: it's completely normal to feel a little nervous before a session — particularly the first one, or when we're about to work on something that matters. If that's what's behind a cancellation, please reach out first. A quick message or call often settles it, and you stay in control of how we go from there.
Our policy:
24 hours' notice or more — reschedule or cancel with a full refund, no questions asked.
Less than 24 hours, or a missed session — 50% of the session fee applies. If you paid in full, we'll refund the balance.
Genuine medical emergencies — if something serious and unavoidable comes up, talk to us. We'll always try to help.
In such rare case we cancel a booked session from our side (except when we decline a session as mentioned below), we'll refund what you've paid.
Arriving on time
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, we'll make the most of the time remaining, though we may not be able to run over.
When we may decline a session
Hypnotherapy isn't the right fit for every situation and is even contraindicated in some conditions. Sometimes, after our conversation, we may suggest that speaking with your GP or another professional first — or instead — would serve you better. If so, we'll say so honestly and point you in the right direction where we can.
We may also end a session where it wouldn't be safe or appropriate to continue.
No refunds are possible in such cases though.
A few general things
Our services are for adults, 18 and over.
What you share with us stays confidential, within the limits of the law and our professional obligations.
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives here on our website.
An honest note
Hypnotherapy at Safe Space is complementary care. It is not a substitute for — medical or psychological treatment. We never ask you to discontinue or skip your medical care or medicines.
We are not psychologists or psychiatrists and do not provide diagnosis. Everyone responds differently, and outcomes vary from person to person. We can't promise specific results. What we can offer is genuine, personalised care and a clear way forward.
